2009. What a year it was. A year full of ups and downs, more of the latter though. 😦 Things don’t seem to be getting any better yet. Learnt a whole lot a lessons. Lies, betrayal, broken frienships, disappointment, fear, anger, disgust and offcourse wrapped in between all of these a little bit of joy and happiness – experienced it all. In short, a year full of mixed emotions.
The one thing that has left a worst impact on my mind was the sad demise of one of my best friends brother. He was more like a younger brother to me too. Maybe that’s the reason I still can’t get over it. It was the first time I experienced something like this. May his soul R.I.P.
Talking about the good /better side of 2009 –
2009 was truly the year of Twitter. It’s been more than six months since I joined twitter and it has now become an integral part of my life. I made some genuinely awesome friends on Twitter.
I started my blog. 🙂
I kindoff figured out who my real friends are.
And hmmmmm, I completed my Graduation! 😆
Good or Bad, the years’ almost come to an end. It’s time to put everything behind, dump all the sad memories and move on with the good ones with the only hope that 2010 would be better than 2009.
But before 2009 ends, I wanna thank my friends and family, all of you who made me smile and forget all my worries and made this year beautiful for me. Thank You! 🙂
And to those who did the reverse of the above – Thanks to you all too. I got to learn a lot from you guys. So, No regrets!
So, let’s all of us enjoy the
last day last few hours of 2009 and welcome 2010 with arms wide open.
“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.”
Some of the New Year Quotes I loved. Thought of sharing them with you guys –
#1 – We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.
#2 – Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.
#3 – Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.
#4 – New Year’s Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.
Here’s Wishing you’all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year ahead!
